Hello all, I have a 1968 vert that the wipers have not worked for the 5 years that I have owned it. Previous owner had the wiper motor hot wired. He would manually open the wiper door, open the hood, and plug in a hot 12V to one of the connectors, and let them run. I tore out his rigging, went through the entire wire harness, made sure all connection were correct. switch is o.k. relay o.k. wiper door limit switch o.k Not sure where to go next. I do need to verify the motor has a sufficient ground, but beyond that, does anybody know how to bench test the actual motor? (there are a lot of wires going into that thing) I guess I'll have to do a deep dive into the wiring diagram to see what actually feeds what. Let me know if anyone has had similar issues. Thanks!
