Any Ideas- Tachometer

Any Ideas- Tachometer
I have a 1980 with a nonworking tachometer. I have installed a new tachometer circuit board & a new Tach filter still it does not work. Could it be the tachometer face? needle? any suggestions.

Is it doing anything at all or just plain "dead"? First thing I'd do is check to make sure it's getting power to it. The problem may not be with the tach. Also, what kind of board did you get and if it was the one with the fiber washers, did they get installed in the right spots?
Is the circuit board in back in decent shape?
Just a few things to look at.
Keep me posted how you make out.
