I'm one of those guys that likes to have multiple vehicles, but I just "don't get" people with multiples of basically the same car. I guess if the Vettes are very different, say a C3 convertible and a C5/C6 hardtop, then maybe. One for fun cruising and one for performance/creature comforts..
Not dissing, I love to see people with wonderful car collections, but personally I have a truck for utility, a lifted Cherokee for DD and offroad fun, a C3 for crusing, and a '77 Celica that will be for shows, the track, long trips, etc. (heavy restification). If I were going to buy another car, and I'm considering it, it would be something very different, perhaps an SLK for when I want to go somewhere nice or perhaps a '67/'68 Camaro if I feel like raw power. This comes up on other boards as well, I don't understand why someone would want 3 Jeeps, or 4 classic Celicas..

Not dissing you either but I have the '72 454 Vert for it's raw power and low miles. In it's current condition it pulling over 500 HP. The '82 is for shows mostly, it's got some great ghost flames and is a good highway car. The '89 is my daily driver and race car. Too loud for long trips. Plus that gives me Red, White and Blue. And one other thing, I could never conceive that a Celica would ever be a classic.

My family has adopted two Corvettes - If I could pull a hat-trick it'd be a mid-year, split window preferably but then our oldest daughter starts college next fall, the younger one is a few years behind...truth be told I have a hard enough time deciding which one to drive now, can't imagine having to choose between three or more!
From: Arlington Va Current ride 04 vert, previous vettes: 69 vert, 77 resto mod
the red one has a custom body and the rest is stock ....the black one is highly moddified but the body is stock.....and i don't see an original type one in my future
