loud "POP" diagnosis

loud "POP" diagnosis

im cruisin along, bout 50 (seems to do it the worst at that speed) when i see a stop light a wayse ahead, i completely let off the gas pedal to slow down, when POP POP POP, really spuratically, and with no pattern what so ever, any one know what it is?

That's a common sound. Heck, even my Durango does that. It's more noticeable when you have headers and free flowing exhaust.

really? because i kinda thought it was due to a weak valve spring or some such, i just thought id get an outside oppinion, thats y i asked!

Mine does that too but only from the right exhaust pipe. I heard somewhere that it was a sign of an exhaust leak. Not sure though. My car is running great so I'm not too worried about it.

thats wierd, mine is only on the right side too, it sucks exaust back in every once and a yle, thats y i thoguth it was my weak spring
