I chose '82 only because body wise it (to me) is the most refined. Yep, I know that the body is the same from '80 to '82 but it makes no difference to me , I'da picked '80 if thats what I'd eventually be driving. Performance wise maybe '69 or '70 because of the power available. Peace,,,Moosie

The 68 as that is the first C3 of many to come.

I'd say the '73 for obvious reasons.

It was a tough choice for me. I think the '68 and '73 have the most character. I ended up choosing the '73 by a slight margin. Visually it has the most unique appearance, it combines the two elements of external changes that divides the Corvette community, however interior wise the '68 has it hands down to any other year for uniqueness.

...'73 since it has the rubber front and the chrome bumper rear. Plus, it's what I own

That's why I chose the '73. It's the only year like it externally.

68. Still had a high winding 327. First shark body though rough. Pretty balzy design for GM 40 years ago. Still a timeless beauty.

I have a 69 and love it,but i must admit that i think 72 is the best only because of the last year of the chrome bumpers and the main thing that i dont like about my 69 is that the fenders dont flair out on the back of the fenders, that saves your paint job.Along time ago i had my vette painted and the first thing i noticed was my paint being chipped up behind my wheels I do like my shark slits in the front fenders better then the later years

My vote is 1970. I love the crates on the side and by then GM worked out most of the bugs. The car was available with a big block and L88 hood.

I love the paint scheme

1973 - one year body style - kept the good looking rear and had the lower 'soft' nose.

I agree but chose the 68 for almost the same reasons you chose the 73. I am very partial to the 73's as well.

There would not be a c-3 without the 68 but I voted for the 70 because of the wider fender flares and the egg crate grills. My .02
