Need simplified help
Please dumb this down for me...I just can't figure out how to get the shaft out of the sunvisor on our '80 to put in the new bushings that're here. I can get the clip off no problem, but the shaft won't pull out. What am I doing wrong?

edit-Oops you are talking about the square sliding shaft,its been awhile since I;ve done one of those if I have one in the shop I'll take it apart and get back to you.
Edit-your not doing anything wrong -its just hard to pull out of there
remembering back I had to trim the new bushing to get them back in-they had extra plastic on the edges-I looked at some new ones I have in stock and the y are just as bad.you'll just have to work with it-if you do trim dont do much
