Default Driver Power Window

I got a '72 vette with power windows but my driver side window stopped working. I've search through threads and they all seem to point to either the window relay or circuit breaker, but from what I've read, for the most part it seems to effects both windows in those cases. My passenger window works fine. I've checked to see that I have power to the passenger window switch but not the driver switch(I even switched them to test if it were the switch alone). I found the circuit breaker and tried unplugging it. Once again it only effected the passenger side, and nothing happened with the driver side. I also checked and I'm not even getting power to the window motor. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Is there a second relay or circuit breaker for the driver side window? Or do you think it's an issue with a fuse or something else? I appreciate any advice.

Only thing that comes to mind is that the wire where it passes thru to the door may be broken thru use of the door opening and closing, I'd trace it back as far as I could, you say you have no power at the window motor ? Good luck, electrical problems sometimes suck, Peace,,, Moosie

Follow the red wire from the drivers switch back and see where it meets up with the wire from the passenger switch-they are both fed from the same wire coming from the relay. If you have power to the pass. side you just have to find where they meet.

Check to see if you have power to the driver's side motor. If you have power then the motor is bad and needs to be replaced. If there is no power then you need to follow the wires back to the relay and look for breaks in the wire. The door are is a likely culprit, wires dry out get stiff and break from the constant opening and closing of the door.

I'm not getting power to the motor. I bought a new one just in case and didn't get power to it either. I'm also not getting power to the driver window switch. I guess if there's no other component to look for, I'll cut the tape and look closely at the wires.

I had my brother-in-law take a look at my window issue today. He knows a hell of a lot more then me, and of course pointed out my first issue came from not reading my meter correctly. Turns out I do I have going to my switch, and even to the motor, but the motor does nothing, not even a noise. I then attached to the "new" motor from Ecklers but I don't get any noise or power. Is this as simple as a old bad motor, and a new bad motor? Or is there something else I should be looking at?

New motor will need to be grounded before putting power to it.

I was hoping it was a grounding issue. Any suggestions on how to get to the three bolts with the window all the way down? I can't seem to pull the glass up
