Indy 500 Firehawk Tire Problem
I have a 75 automatic coupe with the above tires listed in the title. My problem is that when i make a right hand turn only a terrible rubbing noise happens it just started doing this.I have removed the rear tire in question and found a circular groove inside the tire wall basically something is digging in and rubbing against the tire inside. Are these tires to big for this car? any help much appreciated.

255/60/R15s rub on some cars, for some reason. I've been running that size for years, and I've never had a problem. If it's a severe rub, you might be seeing some evidence of frame damage in the past.
Edit - that was for the front.
Rear tire - maybe a suspension bolt that's too long? Maybe a parking brake cable or bracket that's in the wrong spot? Maybe bad wheel bearings causing the tire to move and contact something?
