If it were a Greenwood car, it may justify the price. Since they didn't really explain the high asking price, without and history, it just seems like an overpriced/over-modified vette to me.
If this is the real deal, restored back to original it would bring as much as a Motion car. You guys need to look past the ugly and respect the history.
Just noticed the tag behind the passenger side glass, this looks like the real deal...
The problem is the car is not advertised as a rare historical Motion-esque piece with a traceable VIN or something, it's just another ugly Mickey Mouse custom with a laughable price tag.
Of course, it doesn't mean some idiot won't buy it. Happens every day.
IF this is a genuine Greenwood car the price is appropriate. For you C3 noobs who don't know the history of the car your driving (which is most of you judging from all the bashing of this car), John (driver/engineer) and Burt (fabricator/engineer) Greenwood were as close to the C6R teams as you could get in the late 60's thru the 70's. /:\
It doesn't make it look nice though...its still as ugly as they come if you ask me.....I wouldn't pay a dime for it 'cause I just don't like it. I don't care who designed it or who's name is on it.
Yeah, A HEAD TURNER ! Why do people do this to Corvettes. They screw them up and then think someone would love to have it.
This car, whether an original or a replica, is not screwed up. This was a proven race design.
Many of the customs out there are probably screwed up in the opinion of most purists, including mine, which I plan to keep, because I would love to have it!
That thing is a joke for that price. Freak'in dealers, they can't price cars to save their life. History or not, those those cars just are tacky looking.
What ever happened to it? Did he sell it or is he resurrecting it with upgrades so it's actually drivable?
OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH NNNOOO here we go again, didnt anyone ever hear about letting sleeping dogs lie, kinda lke those lions under the wing of the airplane in the cars, planes etc. thread ? Peace,,,Moosie

It has some interesting parts like the badges which are impossible to get and the suspension, which is clearly the fabricated greenwood a arm suspension with koni coil overs. You can even see the forward mount on the crossmember near the pinion. This is absolutely 100% a greenwood IRS.
The boost gauge, don't know if the turbo gt came with such a gauge. If it was a turbo gt, it's missing the plaque and engine and I think all that were built are already accounted for.
