Interior Projects for my '80 L48
After FINALLY sorting out my rocker noise/exhaust leaks under the hood of my warmed over '80 L48 (taller valve cover AND replacement of header gaskets at the cylinder heads), I am finally going to re-visit the car's interior; addressing replacement of the painted-over parking brake cover (with one whose material is the correct color... no matching paint that flakes off a black cover) and a home-made rear speaker enclosure. If I get real industrious, I may also replace the cracking dashboard and aging rear storage compartment frame and lids; they are really looking tired compared to the fresh carpet/seats/door panels that I installed from Corvette America in late 2004.
Also, I may decide to part with the '69 L46 sometime this summer to free up more fun money (pay off some debt). No fun not having some extra cash to spend on the L48 when the feeling overtakes me.
