Default Sun Distributor Machine

I am looking for someone in the Reading, PA area that has a Sun distributor machine to test my rebuilt 73 points distributor. I've checked with several speed shops and they know of nobody in the area that has one. Thanks, Dean

Check with your local high school auto shop or community college. Normally they have all the vintage test equipment.

I made some calls, I found that my inspection mechanic in Manheim has one, it's a 45 min or less drive from Reading, actually closer than Lancaster. Contact me for info if interested....................Bruce

Bill Stiles in York, PA has one... Obviously York is a lot farther from you than Manhiem, but I know Bill's reputation and he certainly knows what he is doing when it comes to a distributor or magneto. He does work for all the top racing teams in the area... Was a darn good drag racer himself "back in the day."

If you work on your car a lot and do a fair amount of distributor tuning, you can always pick one up at auction. I picked up a Sun 404 machine on ebay a few years back... One of the best decisions I ever made.
