Heres a story for you guys. Just got done driving the vette around because for the first time in a month, it has stopped raining. I was driving it out of my friends neighborhood, and ended up setting off three other car's alarms, just by driving by. Boy do i love that muscle car sound! Anyone have any similar stories where they thought to themselves, "Boy, do i love this car!"?
Yea, last night I went for a little ride after an oil change, three deer started accross this winding two lane road about a mile from the house. OK so now I admit I was booking, I did not have time to lock it up so I aim for the first deer and the next one keeps coming. I pushed in the clutch and burped the throttle. The bark of those sidepipes stopped the second deer in her tracks and I blew right by her, she had this look on her face like "was that a gun"? YEA I LOVE THAT CAR

Even the younger crowd in their "ricer's" can't help to look ,
not to mention pulling along side one with the bass boxes thumping, while a little pedal from the sidepipes drowns it all out!

I took my car out of commission for almost a year to fiddle with and fix different things. Towards the end of the out of service time I was really starting to think I should sell the car. I finished all my projects and took the car out for a drive. Two blocks from my house I realized selling would be a mistake.
My best memory and "I love this car" moment was three weeks ago. I strapped my sons carseat in and took my 2 year old boy for his first ride in the car. We both had a grin that wouldn't disappear.

The best is parking garages, when the deep sounds vibrates through the entire garage and set off cars you havnt even driven by yet
Everytime I go out in it.
Tonight I drove it to church, top down, with my 7 yr old son. We went through the McDonalds drive thru and some 12 yr old boy almost choked. He just stared and pointed, punching his buddy.
Later on the highway, my son looked at me and said, "Daddy, don't ever sell this car."
-Driving through the hospital parking lot, setting off EVERY alarm around.
-thumbs up from people
-just noticing the turned heads as you drive by
-The occasional attractive women that walks up and says "can I have your car??"
Sure babe! Here's the title while we're at it! Anything else I can get for you? Would you like my soul as well?
I once parked right in front of this pizza shop .. it wasn't a parking space. A nice girl who works in that place comes in and asks who's car is that blue vett ?
I said "Sorry it's mine, just picking up my pizza and I'll move it out the way". her reply was "With a car like that you can park anywhere you want ... in fact, I will marry you for it how's that " !!!
Ton of stories, but here's one of the better ones. I had just swung my Vette into a pole totaling it, and a couple friends were helping me push it into my one of their garages. We'd just gotten it pushed off the wrecker and were surveying the damage when this hot girl (that's really no exagerration.....HOT) walks right into the garage. She asked who's car it was and I said it's mine. Asked a few questions, said her dad used to have one, then points across the street and says, "my house is there, swing by and pick me up when you get it back together." We all just looked at each other after she left and both of my friends at the same time said, "I've gotta get one of these."
