EGR question

Im replacing the intake manifold on my 75. Its stock and there is an EGR system. i dont know anything about it, but i bought a new intake manifold without an EGR on it. can i just block off the vacuum on the carb. thanks for the help

Yes the EGR is not needed and your engine will run better w/out it. If you have QQ plates and do not have to take it to state inspection I would remove all the anti-polution stuff. G/L

Get rid of all the smog stuff if you can...it's likely not working properly anyway by this time and is hurting your car's performance. It will run better and clean up the underhood appearance.
