How should I lower the front?
I definitely want to lower my car before I do anything else to it. Obviously the rear is just a matter of longer bolts,.....but those of you who lowered your cars, what method did you use for lowering the front?
Cut the stock springs? If so, how much?
Replace with aftermarket lowering springs? If so, where did you get them?
Thanks!

I did what most people do I cut the stock springs. Becareful not to take to much off. I cut 3/4 loop off of mine, but a lot of people take one full loop off with out problems.

Right on, thanks a lot for the advice!!
And those are some really "NICE" Vettes by the way!
I'll no doubt have to cut a full coil then,......I'm just not someone who likes wheel gap.
Also, what are you guys running for tire sizes? I haven't decided whether I want to go with 275/60's or 295/50's.

I probably better go with the 275/60's then. 295's might be too much on an 8" rim.

well my car has a hydraulic system 2 pumps and 2 batteries. It goes up and down to the ground but still has the handling of a vett because it still has custom springs and shocks on the front and back. The also goes side to side like a lowrider thats whey it call a lowrod half hotrod half lowrider.

Hydros are ok but an air bag system is better there is less maintanance no oil or batteries to charge.
