A bra will just destroy the paint. It will flap in the wind and dirt will get between the bra and the paint.

IMHO, it is not worth the trouble.

this car is perfect. I used to trailer it but just broke up with the guy with the trailer. Now I'll have to drive it some. Like from Las Vegas to San Bernardino for Rte 66. On my white vette I just have the bra for when I drive it but when I show it I take it off. I just had the front painted on the red vette so it doesn't even have one ding. I'd really like to keep it that way. Take my chances?

if your bumper is f'd up, get a mini bra. that's the only reason to have one and the only type to get if you're gonna use one imo.

you can get 'em from mid america.

ok, thanks to all! Point well taken. The car just came from the paint shop. I just wanted to protect the front from chips, etc. But I'll take my chances and not put a bra on it. Thanks!!!!

Default Ack....................

Why are you even considering putting one of those pieces of s___ on your car.

They are just f_________g ugly and damage the paint.

There now I feel better.

A better alternative is a 3M product which goes on the front end and is clear vinyl. Have never used it myself but sure others have. Goes on clear shows color through the product and some suppliers offer the product pre-cut specifically for vehicle type.

I heard that the clear stuff can remove paint and yellows after time. I recently saw an white Audi S4 with the clear stuff on it and it looked like garbage because it had turned yellow.
Now, on my car it wouldnt make a difference!

I prefer Ventureshield over 3M as it is clearer. It doesn't show on white cars like the 3M (can you say yellow?). It is better for installations on curvy cars as well because it has better elasticity (stretches). I install for a living so I am pretty sure I know what I am talking about.....
