Rustoleum paint job one day from completion
Well I finally got the last couple layers of paint on my originally white 79 (which is now rustoleum black). Also got the black sidepipes repainted, I will be posting some pics up as soon as I get it nice and waxed after all is dried, shouldn't take long since its been hot around here lately. Total cost of paint job = $65. I'm impressed with this rustoleum stuff, nice and glossy and way tougher than I thought it would be.

Lots of labor, I think it was well worth it for the price though. I'm interested to see how it is going to hold up after a year or so.

Look up lowbuck's posts - he did the same thing last year, and the last I heard it was holding up fine.

I want to see it too. Give us pictures! The process sounds like a lot of work, and not the fun kind (i.e. building engines).

Yes. Their conclusion was that, if you put the time and effort into it, it beat a cheapo $199 Earl Scheib paint job.
