I have installed several sets of the Kustom and Hooker side pipes. Not really hard to install. A major PITA when you get out of the car when the pipes are hot. I know people that have scars on their legs from burns. If you like going deaf early the sound is good

I just started driving my car with them a couple days ago, already have the sidepipe tattoo burn on the leg, that won't happen again. They look really good on a car, I have the spiral baffles for sound so mine are quite loud but would have it no other way.
They sound WICKED WAESOME!!! If you have a manual tranny, I say DO IT!! You will become an automotive ROCK STAR! You will be heard for blocks before you get there.

i have the hooker super competiton with the quiet baffles in them and they are not really loud....i think the quiet baffles also keep the side pipes a little bit cooler.....at the end of the side pipes where the baffles end is much hotter then where the baffles are.

I love my Hookers! Planning to replace the glass packs with the MaxFlows (jcswm, is that what you have?). I've got a set of un-used BB reverse-flows I'm interested in parting with, for anyone who feels either of the above is too loud.
I just bought and installed the Hooker Stainless Steel. Rebuilt my motor...about a week from starting it up.....Can't wait to hear what it sounds like.
