I posted yesterday that my pulley spacing is very tight. The alignment isn't very good either:
How do you accurately measure the difference in pulley alignment? I can put a straight edge against the outer part of the pulley, but visually they don't appear to be the same thickness. Try to put an edge on the centerline? Also, how accurate should the alignemtn be? I know that stock shims come in 1/16th increments. Is this close enough?
you sure both of those are stock pullys? I think your right, they are different thicknesses. Looks like you will never get the groovs lined up, one or the other, but not both

I think a 1/16 shim would get the alignment very close
I too bought the Borgeson converson for my 68 327. None of the brackets so far (3) the original in the kit, one factory from summit and one from original parts have lined up. Two pump pulleys from different suppliers and different 3 groove crank pulley.
My shop is at wits end. Thank I know the owner..LOL
