Best place for carpet?
I need to replace the carpet and last time I did this there were some that were really made to fit with minor cuts and some that said they were but took major work. Where do you guys recomend?
Thanks

Most of the carpet kits listed in all the Corvette parts sites come from the same manufacturers...
I have heard that Al Koch offers one of the better carpet kits. Just shop around, and go for the best price. I got mine from Rik's Corvette. It was a pain to install, as I had to do some cutting. ( Best tip: Use a soldering Iron to make the bolt holes for the seats, etc..). Always fit 2 or 3 times before cutting! If your current carpet is in good shape, use it as a template. Mine was shot, so I had to do it the hard way.

Al Knoch. I purchased a complete set of Eckler's restoration quality carpet a few years back. Good stuff.

I just bought a front set from MidAmerica. Their catalog said $159, but the web site said $139. I called, they couldn't explain the difference or the change in part numbers. I bought it anyway but haven't installed it yet. I bought a set from Ecklers three years ago for a different vette, it fit nicely and required minor trimming. Both sets were cut pile.
