On my 70 one of the front grills is screw mounted and the other is pins with speed nuts. It appears that the speed nut is correct as the holes are there on both sides and it looks like the screw holes were added and only on one side. My 72 is screws on both sides.
The question is when did they make this change and what one is correct? I have been looking in the books and I see no break in the 70-73 parts, one for screw and one for pin. Were screws used in repro only??
70 used pins, 71-72 used screws through the holes. One must have been reolaced.
Both of mine on my 70 have visible screws which are incorrect. Hard to fine the 70 only ones, no vendors make the correct ones.
