The creeking noise
Has anyone installed a new rear spring (mono) and ended up with a creeking noise from the rear during takeoff? Is it creeking, creaking or????. It sounds much like a squeeking hinge but just for a second. During driving I cannot hear it, I suspect it is due to road noise. I have greased the bolts that go through the spring but it still does it. The bolts, seem to be rubbing on the spring where they go thru. Everything is new, painted very nice. Car is a '70 vert. Thanks.
