Default Question on Lower A Arm Mount Bolts

I'm in the process of installing new Lwr A arms. My old bolts have metal locking nuts for fasteners. When repairing aircraft, we weren't allowed to reuse the hardware if metal locknuts were used--they actually somewhat "stripped" the threads of the bolt. The Chevy dealer said they're no longer available and I would have to get used bolts (not). My question is: Do you folks reuse your old bolts? If not, where do you get new bolts that have the shank?

I've replaced almost every bolt in my suspension with new grade 8 hardware. I bought grade 8 bolts and new type C metal locknuts at ACE hardware.

I am an A&P mechanic myself (Non-Practicing) and understand how reusing a bolt is verboten. LOWES has a nice selection of common hardware, so does the local NAPA. Grade 8 as well.

I have also found a local "Fasten-all" store who can get almost anything.

for aircraft use but check the run-down torque and it the nuts meet that, use them again...
