I'm looking for a track driving school where amateurs are taught to drive cars on the track with instructors, theory lessons and track driving. I'm not looking for F1 class but anything else would be fun.
True, we live in Sweden but the school can be anywhere. The missis and I see this as vacation and consider this racing school to be "quality time". We would gladly go to the US or other places around the world for this.
If you care to come to Canada check out Mont Tremblant near Montreal, Quebec. It is a major tourist center with many attractions. One school is linked below without endorsement as I have not used their services. There are others if you use Google.
If you want to have some stock car fun - try the Richard Petty driving
experience. Located at most major tracks thru out USA. After a half
day of instruction I drove Lowes motor speedway at 130 mph- and yes
that wall is very close. ( For the package I got you could drive 8 laps-
the first few are scary, then you get used to it and the ride is done.)

First, get hold of a few racing magazines. They will have ads in the back. I know that there were several in England, at Brands Hatch, Snetterton, and Silverstone. With them, you can actually race, which many track schools do not do in the US. You have to read carefully the description of each school if you are looking for racing instruction with the goal of a license or simply the goal of learning to drive better.
Getting an FIA license was easier in Europe than the US and that lets you race in many areas.
