Default need a source for side pipes

hllo All,
I have a 72/350 with side pipes. One of them just fell off ! The local Midas guy sggested welding up two glass packs for both sides and installing for around $400. Does anyone know of a source for side pipes ? I'm not looking for NOS just decent pipes approxximately five feet long.
Thanks

$400 for 2 brand new sidepipes on both sides with glasspacks ain't too bad, actually. That's basically what I'm running. Except mine are mounted on the bottom of the frame.

72's didn't come with sidepipes as an option so there is no NOS replacement. If you want to spend the $ you can replace them with Hooker sidepipes, or for the (almost) same look using your stock manifolds you could use Patriot sidepipes. The Patriots only have 1 live pipe and 3 dummies per side but they are probably equivalent in performance to what you have on there now. Your muffler shop's suggestion isn't too bad. Cover the glasspacks with a heatshield and you probably wouldn't see a difference from what you had.

Default thanks all

Thanks for the replies. Especially to TMU. I'll go with the Patriot side pipes this time around. I'll let you all know when the next part falls off !
