Default How to remove needle from small gauges (Voltmeter)?

He all,

I know this is probably a very simple question but I have to ask.

I've done searches on everything I can think of for this but have come up empty.

My Voltmeter needle has broken (gauge works fine) and I need to replace it. Is there a trick to removing this or should it just pop off.

The Needle didn't come right off and I didn't want to break the gauge so I thought I'd research before causing myself the added expense of replacing the gauge.

Anyone out there have an answer for this??

Thank you in advance for any and all input.

It should pull straight up and off. I just repositioned my amp meter needle last week. I used small duckbill pliers to pull it off and a Q-tip to push it back on. Of course you know they are fragile and to be careful.
