Default I am back with a Vette

Tuesday afternoon I left for Vegas driving 95 Dodge with a 20+ tilt trailer. Wow what a drive 2500+ miles in 3+ days. I did not know about the 55 mph when you hit Cal. What a disappointment that was it, I pushed to 63 most of the way.
I am back from Las Vegas with a very nice ’79 Corvette, it was in deed all that he said it was. No rust LOL he did not even drive it when the humidity was up. I was sure when I returned home there would be no way I would drive for a few days, nope we got that baby off the trailer and I was just going to drive home, ooopppsss missed my street and the next one and the next one 2 hours later I made it home, what a nice ride. I will try to post some pic later. Thanks to all that helped make this choice, The best was that I should go down and see for my self well worth the money.

Nice read and what a trip to take. Not knowing where you started out from since you don't have your profile filled out doesn't help much. You should fill it out so we have a better idea of who we are talking to. Don't need to list your last name. Back to the car sounds like a great deal. An old girlfriend of mine from way back during the 70's owned a white '79 Coupe with Red interior. Although an automatic it really was a nice Vette and drove really nice. At todays prices to be able to pick this car up for $7k and only having 37,000 miles on the car I think was a steal. I would really like to see some pictures of the body and interior of this car. Heck if that deal was near me and if it is in as good a shape as you mention I would of found it hard not to take avantage of it myself and with my collection I really don't have any more room for another car. Good luck with it!

Congrats Tami...and nope they don't make 8-tracks any more, but you can sometimes find some great oldies 8-tracks on the auction sites, and enjoy the player. I'll fix your clock and get it working again for you. That'll be my donation to the cause.
Enjoy it. I know you will
