Default Winter Storage/Vette Shows

Guys...even though the cold weather is 5 months away. What would be the best way to store my Vette in the winter as I have no garage. I plan to drive it as much as I can during these months but only on weekends.
Do you treat the gas or any other fluids prior to the extreme northeast cold ? What oil type should I use as I will change the oil prior to December weather?
Any other suggestions as this is my first C3.

On another note. Any good Vette shows coming up in the northeast?

Way to early to worry about storage. You'll see plenty of post in september. But start looking for a garage, find someoe in the neighborhood that doesn't have a car. (Grandma) or an empty stall in the garage.

while mine is in the a garage i personally add a container of seafoam, then top off the tank with premium, make sure the AF is good to about 30 below
and i put my battery on charge about every 2 weeks to make sure it stays ready to go.
not sure where in NY you are located but here in central,NJ mine wasnt really stored too long last winter.
little snow and warm through jan 11th then it got cold
but still no real snow and 40 degrees is warm enough to take it for a drive.

Since you're planning ahead, try to find a storage place that'll store your car for as long as you want it put away. I put mine up from mid-October through April 1 each year. Change oil, check tire pressure, top off gas tank with a bottle of Sta-Bil in it, disconnect the negative battery post and put the cover on her for a long nap.

Get a good cover (Noah) and take up drinking, most heavily from January through March.

Seriously, I took no extra precautions than the norm and I had no issues.
