Default What year???

My neighbour has a friend who sent him this photo of a Vette that can be bought for $1,000. It ran well (8?) years ago and has been parked ever since. It was a divorce (she won)...It's in a shed, with tons of crap stored on top of it. Any idea what year this is?

75 or a 76... 74 would have the straight front bumper cover, 77 and later would have different front emblem...

The front tag indicates Stewart Chevrolet in Colma CA (San Francisco).

The salt air probably hasn't done this car any good..

BTW: I wouldn't consider this car a bargain at $1000, certainly not without an inspection. MUCH less expensive starting out with a good car, than trying to rebuild a problem child (don't ask!).

Hi vjam,
I'm interested. I've put tougher projects than that back together. I'm down in Palm Springs. Where is the car located?

I've got a thing about bringin' 'em back from the dead!

Best,
Greg

Heck with the inspection, it is worth well over $1,000.00 if you break it down for parts.

I'm not sure where the car is...not far from you. If you have a cop friend he could run the plates and tell you the address...I'm in Toronto, Canada so I also have to consider the cost of trailering it 3,000 miles.
Thanks to all for your info

If the ex- in question trashed that Vette, the b!+<# ought to be prosecuted for felony vandalism.

Joke: Did you hear about the new Divorce Barbie? She comes with all Ken's accessories.

Oh yeah, that happened to me. Not funny.

Regardless, deliberately inflicting that kind of damage on an American legend (i.e., a Corvette) should be a felony.
