Default What have I done wrong?

It seems lately my posts drop to the bottom of the page with very little response from the members. If I've done something wrong or offended the membership I'd like to know. It is not my intention to upset anyone but if that is the case, please accept my apologies.

Hey
You're a pretty technical guy. You seem to know more car stuff than the average poster here. Some of us don't have anything to offer you so we can't comment on stuff that's over our heads.

Don't take it personally. You're doing fine.

Usually If I don't have anything constructive to say I won't add comments to posts, if the question has already been answered I just read along some of them drop to the bottom faster than others

I still consider myself a rookie in this game. Remember, this is my first vette and like the rest of you I'm seeking help and advise from the experts here. I can understand a difficult question being passed over, but I can't figure out way my general postings and progress updates get passed on as well.

I haven't seen anything wrong with your posts.

One thing to think about - a good title can grab peoples attention. I'm not saying that you don't do this but in general it's a good idea to spend some time crafting a descriptive title that makes folks want to open and read your post. I know I don't open and read everything - just posts that interest me.

I agree with previous responses that if there is nothing left to add, I won't typically post up a response.

I feel sometimes like I am a thread killer. I am not trying to get the last word in, it just works out that way. My questions get lost too. Nevertheless, I got more answers in the first two weeks I was on the forum, than I had on other forums of "experts" in years. If you want to get some answers try asking about converting a rubber bumper car to chrome bumpers or how much the value will be hurt by painting your original paint matching numbers car a different color and installing C5 seats and LS1. Oops, I might have offended someone.

Sometimes I post something that I have researched very well and get no responses. This means to me that no one is thinking...."NO DON"T DO THAT!!!!

As far as I'm concerned ... it has been sanity checked by the forums non-response. Don't sweat it.

I get ignored all the time on here.
Then I just make up my own answer and go on.

It was when you used the word "Mango" in a post about 6 mos ago,, about the trailing arm problem. when we see that word mentioned, it's like a red flag to us.. We know.....
