Ok, my trim around the back window was flat black. I decided to strip it off so I could repaint it. (It was scratched up) After getting all the old paint off, I kinda like the polished look. I cannot decide if I should paint it again, or leave it alone. Tell me what you think, and why?
I considered the same thing, but painted mine semi flat black because the front trim is semi flat black and the rocker moldings are also. I think do one or the other to all trim, don't mix it up. I see your rockers are bare, how about the windshield trim?

Good point. I never thought to keep it all the same. I did the rockers about a year ago, because the black was in such bad shape. I guess, now I just have to do the fronts
Im gonna bare it all I guess you could say:o - those of you with weak stomachs might not wanna watch
I have been thinking about this too, as my trim is in bad shape. My 79 is white and if I could find rocker mouldings that are chromed or polished metal, I think I would go ahead and convert to polished. Not sure hot I wold deal with the windsheild frame though. I think it makes the car look better without making it look too different!

My rockers were originally black too. I steel wooled them to death on a saturday afternoon. I'm sure yours are the same. tell me if I am wrong.
