Default new seat question

Im finally to the point on my 74 that I can start to plan my interior. The factory seats are a bit rough. I need new covers, new foam, and event the side chrome needs replaced. I figure with all that it would probably be easier and cheaper to just put an after market seat in and be done. I really like the look of some of the racing seats out there that incorporate a 4 point harness. I also want something that is comfortable and doesnt block visability. Even though my engine can pull almost 600 hp, hopefully it comes back from the dyno next week, Im not John Force I would like to see all around me.
I found a set on the e-site that looked resonably priced, they looked nice and are leather but the dimensions are 22.5"W x 23"D x 36"H. I estimated my old factory set at 21"W x 22"D x 32"H, so they probably wont work especially the heigth criteria. I estimated the top of the seat to touch the roof. I can get some Recaros, Momos, or Sparcos that are a bit smaller but more $$$$. Maybee Im not seeing something and these are fine. Has anybody used these in there C3 if not what are everybody running.

Thanks
G

I thunk about all those aftermarket seats when I did my interior too. But I wound up just packing them in to the other car and taking 'em to a local known-good upholsterer. He put all new foam under them and covered them with new BMW Champagne leather.

$800 but they look and smell good!

Thanks. Actually that is my plan B. Im just curious how tall of a seat can I put in there. I really like the seats I found but it is about a 4 inch difference. Not sure if it is a big deal or not. I wish I didnt already take apart the factory ones for a more acurate measurement.
