Finally Got My Vette!!!!!
Well, It was about 11 years ago and I was 19 as I cried and drove away from my 1977 Vette that was no longer mine...
I'm 30 now, and I just pulled into my driveway a 1982 Vette. It's good to be back in the family. Although the entire interior needs to be replaced, from the T-Tops to the carpeting, the dash to the rear, the Engine is in great shape with only 128K on it, brakes, steering and tranny work awesome. Drove it from N.C. to N.Y. in one day straight, made it without a problem.
Body isn't bad, looks great from 5 feet away, then you notice some things, one of which is a bad MACCO job...I hate those guys. I really think I saved this beauty from a future life at home that doesn't appreciate it.
I'm going to have plenty of questions on here I'm sure, one or two I already have, but I'll wait till I have some pics to put to the questions.

Long Island, NY in the house! I am an old Farmingville resident myself which is right around the corner from Middle Island. I used to work at the old TSS which is where K-Mart is. Eventhough I live in Little Neck I always go out to Farmingville to see my mom and always take my Vette with me to drive around my old stoppong grounds like Port Jeff and just driving up and down Middle Country road. May be I will see you. Welcome aboard and great looking car.

Congradulations. Yes, it is good to be home. I got mine in spring of 2003. It took me 22 years to get back home, I guess I should of followed you!
