I have some pics of my project, but I can't find how to add them to a thread, can anyone help?

Simple, go to a free photo host site like www.photobucket.com, set up your account, upload your photos, copy the url link of the photo you want to insert in your post, select the Insert Image Icon up top under the Redo arrow, paste the url link, then click on OK.
You might want to go to the Test section of the forum to practice posting photos.
