Default another barn find

Hey fella's I went to a shop today that had a fresh barn find: 1974 454 auto, ac, black on black, t-tops, odometer is showing 38K. It has been hit in the front, a new front clip comes with it. What is it worth, I am thinking about selling my L-48 and grabbing this one.

The Value of a C3 is a combination of what the seller wants and what the buyer is willing to spend!!!

That being said it sounds like a basket case in my book... If the birdcage is rusted out & the frame is bent.... 2k would be my first offer

If the car is complete & "cherry" except for the damage the max I'd pay (without seeing the car) would probally be in the 5-6K area???

Default Fools rush in

Don't get big block fever and overspend like I did. It WILL have rust and issues you can't see. Take your time and check it out. Point out the problems and get the price reduced.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst, and if its too much, WALK AWAY.

CAREFUL:

There were no factory produced BLACK Corvettes from 1970 to 1976
last year was 69 & reappeared as a factory color option again in 1977

Just Some C-3 Trivia

I did that, too. I have a 74 big block also. Even though I may have paid a little too much, the first second I saw the car, I knew that I was going to buy it. So I have no regrets, just paid a little too much. Make sure it is the car you want BEFORE you crank up the big block. If you wait until you crank it up and hear it, you'll have to have it.
