Default #3 Body Mount Body Problem?

So I pulled off the plates covering the #3 body mount today and on my '75 coup. On the drivers side there was a lot of broken fiberglass. After clearing it away it appears the body cracked around the mount area and eventually disintigrated and gave way. I can see the fender section behind the door and a light if I shine it up from below.

How screwed am I? Can this be repaired?

My father-in-law thinks we can 're-glass' it but he hasn't seen it. Is that realistic?

Thoughts?

If you are looking in that inspection hole, you should see solid steel, covered over with a fiberglass shell.

It all can be repaired. If it is just fiberglass damage, its not too bad. If you have rusted out steel, its a bit tougher and much more expensive.

Is the steel along the sides or just the bottom?

The two sides are all cracked and broken out and that is where I can see the light coming in and the back of the quarter panel.

This is what it looks like with the glass removed.
