help me decipher an engine code

Hello All,
I'm trying to decipher an engine code on a 72 coupe. I don't think the numbers match but I can't figure it out.
It reads
C5FZ2560 or C5F42560
at least thats all I can barely read today any suggestions would be appreciated

Neither of these numbers appears to be a Corvette number. Are you sure these are engine identification stamps? The C could indicate 1982 production.

Check the pad at the front of the right head again. There should be two numbers stamped there.
