My wifes Benz went into the shop for a few days so QUICKLY took this as an invite to slip my new 1972 into its DRY, CLIMATE CONTOLED, CRITTER FREE GARAGE!
Will it last- NOT sure, but count on this the day the Benz comes out of the shop- I will be way too tired to move the Vette- or it may come down with a starting problem...

Tell her that it won't start and also that the T-Tops leak
Try explaining to her which is more likely to get stolen and stripped
Wife owns an ML 500, they're as common as fleas on a mangy mutt around here. No one will mess with it if it was kept out overnight, but I don't think the 68 would last more than a couple nights before....
Sounds like a good ol compromise is needed.... a bigger garage!
Thats what i did. make it big enough for another corvette though. 24x24 works for me. I just wish i would have gone with rafters instead of trusses. cause then i could stack'em
