I recall a survey on the general C3 forum charting the age of participating members. I did a search, but could not find it. I think Bangkok Dean was the winner, but that's really not my point.
I am mostly just curious. Or, maybe I just forgot!
At my age I don't remember that thread............... what was it now?
OK what did I win anyway...............

I'm 46 and your going to have to burry me in the vette, because one day I am going to get in it, but won't be able to get out. Now I know why my brother bought a C5.

I'd be interested to know not only the current average age of C3 owners, but the average age at which owners got their first shark.
Now, 48
Then, 19
53 for me, but that doesn't count all the years that lead up to it. What if your heart was into it as a teenager? What if family and career came first but you never lost that longing? And how about those few final years that I spent "shopping" for something close to perfect for me? I don't doubt it's a process for most of us.
That's pretty cool -- you guys that are the same age as your vette. Those that got their first vetttes in their teens -- lucky son-of-a-guns
My '76 was brand new the year I graduated HS. It took me 30 years to get it. 49 years young here. I have loved every minute (almost - it did catch fire that one time and oh yes, the reckless driving ticket was a bummer) of working on it. Much to do on it the next 49 years
