Heat Barrier
Anybody have any suggestions on what heat barrier has the best bang for your buck? I am getting ready to put my carpet back in and am looking for recommendations. Only one I know of is Dynamat Extreme but it is pricy.

Question has been asked a hundred times. Most people go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy the insulation there. It comes in a roll and you can cut it to fit. Its like a 2 sided foil with insulation in between. Ive seen rodders even use it on their roofs under their head liners. For around $ 25.00 you can insulate your floor before you put in your carpet.

I have an 81 that I have just finished an interior resto. I used high density closed cell foam (sleeping bag mat) under the carpet on the passenger floor pan for heat and on the back deck for sound. I am very impressed how well this worked.
