Default 1968 Wiper Vacuum Actuator
Does anyone know what the finish was on the wiper actuator body. I attempted to clean mine up and it wore through the finish. I would like to sand it all the way down and re-coat it.

Cad plated with yellow dichromate finish. So says "Corvette restoration Guide 1968-1982".

very hard to duplicate on your own. Even those fancy 3 part kits end up looking like you painted it.
