I had found a good deal on some c6 corvette tires with almost no miles, and the rear tires are huge. The fronts were 245 I think and the rear were 280 maybe.

If I were to buy the tires and find rims later would they all fit and would i have problems with rubbing?

I did search this but I found so many threads about this that I was just confusing myself.

 

Something in the back of my mind tells me C6 tires are run flats and are meant to be used with the LTPW system. They are also probably uni-directional.

 

So they may not even work on standard rims?

I'd be okay with them being directional.

 

They would work on normal rims, you would just need to get some sensors that let you know if the tires are low on air. I do not think the C6 sensors would work, because they are tied to the electronics in the car. But you can get aftermarket sensors. I could not tell you as far as fit goes. I have to get a c3, before I worry about wheel and tires
