I had forgotten about this one. Glad I came across the thread again. Wonder how much has changed since the pics back in May? Its summer so I am guessing progress is a little slower. Looking forward to seeing some more pics for sure. Very interesting project.

Baby stuff has been keeping me busy. I have only been working on the drivers side body work and got the front bumpers mounted. Will take more pics when I have more to show. Thanks for all of the encouragement.

Great work Scott. Amazing body and fabrication skills. I really don't recognize my old car anymore.

Thanks Tommy,
I wondered if you would cringe when you saw your old car. It will look better when finished, I promise.
I can't bring myself to cut the body for headlights. The old headlights were illegal in my state anyway so I decided to make them a little more illegal. I won't be driving it at night anyway other than the occassional show in town. I lowered the headlight buckets about 2" to clear the bumpers. I also bought some blacked out projector headlights. The chrome trim will be blacked out so all that will be seen is the round projectors. I think it will look nice and stick with the pro-touring look theme(and get the front end out of the 80's).
Excuse the mess. I have really been working on it trying to get the lionshare done by Oct when the baby is due!

I dig it... you might have trouble deciding which section of the forum to post in though.

What sort of filler are you using to reshape the fenders?

What are you talking about runningman? He posted pics on 9-1-08, three weeks ago not three months.

I've actually got a lot done including running over my wife's foot Ive been tweaking here and there and doing all of the little stuff that takes so long. Admittedly, the baby, house projects, and getting my doctorate own the majority of my time. I'm in possession of all the interior parts to complete and just have a little work on the drivers side door jamb and it will be ready to paint.
The rear of the car looks like it sits high but it is really low. I cannot even get my normal floor jack under the frame. I think the solution will be a taller, and possibly wider, rear tire.
