I am about to take possession of a 1972 Lt1. This vehicle is highly documented, original bill of sale, tank sticker, Protect O Plate, etc. Somewhere along the way, the original exhaust manifolds were removed and headers were installed. The original exhaust manifolds are coming with the car. The owner says he also has a Smog Pump that goes with it. Would a 1972 LT1 have a smog pump? The engine code is CKY.
Thanks.
Thanks so much for the reply and the information. There were a few changes made to this LT1 over the years, but fortunately, all the original parts were saved.
Unfortunately, I can not keep the car, and was hoping I would have it in time to take to Carlisle, but I am not going to make it. So, if anyone is looking for an excellent, highly documented 1972 LT1, I will most likely be tossing it up on Ebay soon.
