I guess it was 1 1/2 years ago I purchased a toledo pro flex fit bumper cover for my 77. I am restoring kind of when you get cash you buy parts. I paid close to $300 dollars for the cover. It looked very nice. I fitted it to my car and then put it up into the attic in a safe place. I brought it down a few weks ago and it had cracks in a lot of different areas around the bumper extentions. I called toledo pro and they refused to accept it was defective and because I had it for so long they also accused me of putting stuff on top of the cover. I paid a profesional body shop to repair the cracks. It again looked good. Last week I pulled it down again for painting and there were more cracks in different places. I took it back to the body man again and he again repaired the spots. Today I pulled it back out of the attic again and more cracks. I give up and I am purchasing the flex fit front cover from the good folks at ecklers. I bought my rear cover from them and it is perfect. I paid a little more but it was worth it. End result caution before you buy a bumper cover from Toledo Pro.
Thats crazy. Its only a year and a half old?? I wonder if its "unusually dry" in your attic. Thats a shame that they would not at least offer you something for selling you a defective product.

I agree with TP quality and I usually advise against using their product because of inconsistent quality. As info, Ecklers was purchasing from TP as of 1 year ago. A friend brought me a fascia from Ecklers in May of '06 and it was made by TP. I made him return it and get a good one (non flex) from ACI.

I dont know about unusual dryness in my attic but I should think that some vettes sit out in all kinds of heat and cold and should never crack. I am going to call them back on Monday and challange them to inspect my cover and look for themselfs that it has never been on the car plus i can offer them notorized statements of that fact. I just hate being out the money but since my rear cover from Ecklers that was made in their house fits so good I think I will bite the bullet and buy it from them. Has anyone else on the forum had bad expirerences with any toledo pro cracking?
