Need help finding Dome light Timer Part
My dome light all of a sudden is staying on instead of going out in a few mintues and when I put the key in the ign switch . I found the little orange timer module behind the glove box but I cant seem to find a parts supplier that even lists it .
Does anyone know where to find this part ?

What would I need to do to make my dome light come on when I open the doors ? The dome light comes on when I twist the headlight switch **** but not when I open the doors .

Hi Keith,
Easy fix. Just jumper the white wires in the connector you've unplugged from the orange timer module. The interior lights will work the same as any other car then.

I bought a repro through Corvette Central a few years ago. They still list in...part #593149, courtesy lamp time delay relay control.
When I bought it, it was $40...now it lists for $62 if you're still interested.

Haha... heck no ... not at that kind of ridiculous price ...... no big deal , but thanks for the info !
I tied my two white wires together and it works like a normal car would .... thats all I need . My Vette is Very Modified so putting it back to original is of no concern .

timer light
the part number is 614-800.. at mid america..it cost 34.99 all it is a male plug in with a female plug in orange wire black wire and purple wire. one plugs in to top of fuse box accy area and the other end plugs in what looks like a hazard flasher relay located on the 77 models under the dash cap by the sterring wheel.
