Default Where I can get a new frame..

I planning to put a new frame on my 81 vette this winter. Where I can get a new one or a used one in great shape ? price ?

If you can, give me the internet link.

I can take a frame and get a direct bolt on from which year to 81 ?

PM me the closest US ZIP code and I can look up a frame closest to you there in Canada. It'll be used, but I may be able to save you some freight. No guarantees, I will just check and see what's close.

An Internet search will turn up a number of places that sell frames. ebay is another place to look. There is a lot of junk out there so you have to be careful when buying. Insist on many high-resolution photos of all areas of the frame. If the seller balks, run away.

I bought an excellent condition 73 frame from forum member paulywannafly. You could contact him to see if he has anything available. He had a number of C3 parts cars when I was picking up the frame.

A new frame?

How about one of these?

http://www.sriiimotorsports.com/ Talk to Mike he is a great guy to deal with.

Yes these are a direct bolt on to your body. You can also get all kinds of upgrades to the suspension as well.

Hmmm I see you are living in my old home town. It's tough to store a car for the winter if you don't have a heated garage. Rust is rather inevitable.
