Default Is my distributor original?

Can anyone tell me where the numbers are on the distributor in order to tell if it is original? So far I have determined the carb and alternator are correct. BTW, It is a 1975.

Thanks, but I have the # from my black book. I was wondering where on the dist. the number would be located.

Here you go. This is the correct number for a '75 distributor 1112888. With a build date of 7/10/74.

Thanks! Nice car. Did you have your dist. rebuilt? Just curious why it was out.

Thank you. When I swapped engines a few years back I installed an MSD HEI that I had. The original engine is stored away.
