Transmission numbers

Hi,
Where can I find the transmission numbers on a '71?

I'm looking for the alpha numeric code with the assembly date and the VIN.

The VIN and date code / gear spec numbers are on the driver's side stamped vertically adjacent to the seam where the tail housing is bolted on.

Actually, there on the passenger side. Both assembly and vin stampings are at the location where 66L36Coupe indicated.
