Go out to Delco Remy's website and look it up. Also the aftermarket Delco Remy starter is Branded as "Palladium" or try and get if from your delaership under the AC Delco branding - BUT it's the same STARTER. Just in a different box.
Just tried this - that's not the part number (Delco Remy) says the part number for an AC-Delco Starter should have "8" (nnnnnnnn) numbers and the catalog number should be nnn-nnnn.
It is close to a Delco Remy OE number but I can't find it in their on-line catalog.

YEs. I went there and tried to type that part number in myself but nothing came up for me... I will double check the numbers again!!
Its possible its from a later year. My dad had mixed some parts here in there back in the day!!! Where can i pick one up at a good price??
If you really need to stay NCRS - then possibly you may find one at a Parts counter at a dealership - (I doubt it by now unless it is NOS sitting on his parts shelf, again hightly unlikely).
Like I said, Delco Remy aftermarket brand name is "Palladium" carried by Advance Auto - you can order on-line or if you have an Advance Auto Store near you - call them see if they have the Palladium starter in stock - if not go on-line order and pay for it and have it shipped either to yourself or to the Store for pickup.

You need this one 1108338. I bought one from a guy with a bunch of NOS ones. They even have the old style solenoid and screws that have never has a wire on them. Was a jan 70 date though
If you are concerned about having the correct numbered starter and want the starter to turn over the engine as if it was brand new, get a rebuilt starter from John Pirkle.
You have to hear this thing to believe it; it sounds like it could turn over an airplane and it starts immediately. Also no heat soak problems as some often complain about with their older starters. He rebuilds it to factory original specs and numbers but with high torque internals.
Will last forever; I bought one for my 68 and it is phenominal.
Kurt
Hope this helps. I notice yours has 2 sets of mounting holes. I assume you use the rear set. The front ones look rusted like there hasn't been a bolt there.
You'll notice with the 1st photo of my 8338, there's isn't a set of mounting holes toward the front of the starter, forward of the 631 number
