It's tough as most DMV's trash records after 10 years. Plus, because of the Privacy Act, they will not give out names or addresses. I've tried to trace the history of my 71' and did get some info from DMV's in MD, West Virginia and Virginia. I started with the site below which gives all the DMV forms and contacts. Good luck.
